Free Microsoft Office

Randolph-Macon College allows employees and students to install the full Office application suite on multiple devices. To install Microsoft 365 for education, you can follow these steps:

On your computer

  1. Go to the Office 365 Portal.
  2. Log in with your RMC email and password. 
  3. Click Install Office on a Windows or Mac computer, or tap the icons for a smartphone or tablet.
  4. After installation, open the application from the Start Menu or Applications Menu. 
  5. Sign in with your RMC email and password.
  6. Complete the Duo Mobile request. 

Mobile Setup

  1. Go to your App Store (Apple, Play Store, etc.) and search for Microsoft Office Mobile.
  2. Download the Mobile App from your store.
  3. Open the App and follow the tutorial.
  4. Sign in with your @go.rmc.edu or @rmc.edu account in order to get full access.
  5. Duo will prompt for authentication.
