Can't Share Screen

Service Description

Request this service if you are unable to share your screen in a Microsoft Teams meeting when signed into Teams with your RMC Account.

Information Needed For The Request

Please provide whether you are on a college-issued or personal device, your operating system, whether you are using the Web or desktop client version, if you are a participant or hosting, and any relevant messages you received.

Estimated Time Required

Most screen sharing issues involve permissions and can be remedied during first contact.

If you're on a Mac, you may need to grant Teams permission to record your screen in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > Screen Recording.  On College-issued macs, the Service Desk will need to promote your account temporarily so that you can do this step.
